Business Intelligence Engineer Matt Tweedy was recently recognized as the recipient of our parent company CQuence Health Group’s most prestigious honor, the Bob Cassling Service Excellence Award. The award, which was created in 2015, celebrates founder Bob Cassling’s legacy of taking excellent care of customers and employees.
“Matt is a great example of a team player who provides exemplary service,” said Director of Client Operations Patricia Rodriguez. “His role is vital to the overall agency.”
Matt is responsible for external and internal software development projects, system maintenance, maintaining the electronic database, and generating reports that support business operations. Matt’s commitment to the company, his coworkers and our customers is evident in his willingness to take on additional responsibilities. He recently volunteered to be the agile coach for the newly implemented kanban process. Kanban, which means billboard in Japanese, is a project management tool designed to help visualize work, limit work-in-progress and maximize efficiency.
Ensocare employees from operations and development, product and quality assurance meet daily to discuss work items that are represented visually on a kanban board, allowing team members to see the state of every piece of work at any time. As the agile coach, Matt is responsible for providing feedback, helping overcome challenges and keeping the team’s progress on track.
“Everyone here is amazing to work with and we all have clear goals of where we want to be and how we want to get there,” said Matt. “Everyone is doing an awesome job and I’m happy to do anything I can to help this team succeed.”
Matt is not only a great employee; he is also a great coworker. He is known for his willingness to go the extra mile to assist anyone who needs help, day or night.
“There aren’t very many people like Matt. When you ask him for assistance with a client request, he will do it in a timely manner, no questions asked and with a smile on his face,” said Account Executive Abby Ahl. “Matt has many job responsibilities that keep him very busy, but you would never know it by the way he is always willing to help. I couldn’t give the best customer service to our clients if it wasn’t for the work that Matt does.”
While there are many hard-working, dedicated employees in our organization, the Bob Cassling Service Excellence Award is bestowed on individuals who take service to the highest level. Matt received several nominations that demonstrated his qualifications for this award, which recognizes employees who go above and beyond in exemplifying the organization’s culture and service.
